A: First off make sure you are running oer-1.0-51 or oer+MySQL-1.0-29 (or newer). Now if oer or oer+MySQL disconnects with a sign off message "stoned server" then the oer or oer+MySQL ping frequency set for the server is too small, you need to increase it. Typical ping frequency values are 90-360 (seconds). There are even networks which don't use the standard ping based detection of stoned clients. With those networks, set the global flag "p". If oer or oer+MySQL disconnects without a sign off message or the message is "Ping timeout" then there is nothing you can do about it oer or oer+MySQL configuration wise. You may try to activate linenoise for the server, that may help.
