Q: What is the CTCP friendly mode? (#18) Inserted/last edited by EQU <equ@equnet.org> on 2001-12-13 11:37:41 |

| A: CTCP friendly mode (global flag "f") will make oer respond to the standard CTCP queries send by anyone. (finger, userinfo, version, ping, etc.) Normally you shouldn't set the flag because in a hostile environment like IRC individuals can abuse this feature and cause additional lag to oer. |
