A: Authing to Q is a QuakeNet extension. First off, you will need to register to Q with the same hostmask your oer will have. The Q registration quidelines are here. After you have successfully registered, you can add the Q auth information to oer with "edit qauth". After setting the qauth information oer will auth itself to Q. After this oer will always auth itself to Q when joining the IRC network.
