66. I made changes to my oer configuration but the changes aren't getting saved! Why not?
26. How much load (channels, users, nicks, etc) can oer handle?
34. oer or oer+MySQL seems to disconnect from the IRC server (sign off) more often than other bots or IRC clients, why?

Q: How can I have a L friendly mode, just like the one there is for Q? (#44)

A: Q friendly mode was a quick hack for QuakeNet to avoid op & de-op wars between oer or oer+MySQL and Q. The Q friendly mode and relating source code just hasn't been deleted. Since some time you should have been using services in oer or oer+MySQL to achieve a generic Q friendly mode. Either add the nick or the hostname you want to allow to act as a service. Notice that on the next channel sync oer or oer+MySQL will do the same thing it would do if there were no services defined. Examples:
  • /msg oer add service Q
  • /msg oer add service L
  • /msg oer add service operserv.quakenet.org
  • /msg oer add service *.quakenet.org
